The Waterfront project will be developed with the objective of enhancing the community–creating new jobs, new business and creative housing opportunities for DC residents
during development and construction, and throughout the life of the project. The
vision of Waterfront is centered on a development that directly serves and supports the
SW neighborhood—in the short term and for generations to come.
LSDBE Commitment
Waterfront is committed to nurturing the development of local, small, and disadvantaged business enterprises
through business development programs and public/private contract compliance. Local, small businesses
are the cornerstone of the neighborhood’s character and vitality—and make a substantial impact on
the DC economy through job creation and business expansion.
